To embrace the virtues of the Metal Element within, join Christine and Adam for a harmonious combination of Yin Yoga and Live Music.

The transition of late summer to autumn marks a time of great change! Moving from the external and expansive nature of summer to the internal and contracting nature of autumn. We can welcome this time of naturally slowing down. The shorter days mean less time for doing and more time to be still and tend to our inner state of being.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the season of autumn corresponds with the Lungs and the Element of Metal, which is the energy of courage and reverence. It reflects the ability to let go of what we don’t need in order to create space for what is important in our life.

To embrace the virtues of the Metal Element within, join Christine and Adam for a harmonious combination of Yin Yoga and Live Music.

This time of transformation invites us to ponder the impermanence of all things.

Just as the leaves fall from the trees, now is the time to consider what is ready to be let go of? What are you ready to shed and release?

With over a decade of teaching experience, Christine is a dedicated yoga practitioner with an attraction towards Eastern Philosophy, Five Element Theory and creative expression through movement. Her Yin Yoga classes are peaceful and considered. With her gentle presence and soothing voice, her facilitation guides students to deepen a connection to their inner landscape with the ability to practice heart-based listening, recognise overlooked sensations and honour the messages the body gives.
Adam Buchanan is a multi-instrumentalist, therapist, and composer who believes in the unique healing power of sound. His soundbaths incorporate instruments from around the globe, blending them into rich immersive soundscapes. Examples of instruments he may use include handpan, flutes, guitar, didgeridoo, gongs, and crystal singing bowls. He currently lives in the Sunshine Coast and performs across southeast Queensland at events and festivals.
