Chill out with 7 bands across 2 stages at Caloundra’s best live music venue, Norton Music Factory.

Join High Tropics, Katanak, Nuffin Butta, Aspy Jones, Sailing in Space, Pete Gray & Darcy Kate to chase the winter chills away.

Tickets are $20 and numbers are capped.

High Tropics

High Tropics is the moniker of QLD based singer/songwriter Josh Stewart & his live band. Formed as an outlet to house songs outside of the now defunct alt rock group The Ninjas, the project has already racked up over 5 million streams online, & garnered praise from both international & local taste-makers alike, including Rolling Stone Au, Triple J & Red Bull Music to name a few.

After a career high year that saw him become the most collected Australian Indie Rock artist in web3 with his band High Tropics, the double denim songsmith is back with the project’s strongest release yet. Get ready to reminisce about the early 2000’s with a touch of tropical vibes in ‘Girlfriends’, a love and heartbreak anthem that’ll have you singing along and feeling all the emotions. Experience the nostalgia of the glory years with a fresh, unique twist that’ll make you fall in love with High Tropics all over again

Katanak

Fresh off playing Brisbane Festival and collaborating with some of Australia’s most respected emerging and established artists (Quan Yeomans (Regurgitator) and Pete Murray to name a few), Katanak is releasing ‘Lights of Tokyo’, the first single off his upcoming debut EP.

Straddling genre’s grey area of Indie pop meets Indie rock, Katanak can’t wait to have you hear his new music! Will keep fans of UK modern rockers The Wombats, Circa Waves and Sam Fender satisfied.

Nuffin Butta

The Moffatt Beach rockers, Nuffin Butta, are joining the line up and bringing their brand of sunshine to your arvo. Super smooth and super cool, these lads know how to bring it!

Aspy Jones

Aspy Jones is a prolific songwriter from regional Queensland. He writes tunes about his unique perspective on life, good mental health and the difficulties he’s faced as he’s learnt to live with autism and anxiety. While his songs reflect a quirky sense of humour and a keen eye for unusual detail, they are also real and authentic. His five-piece band, which includes two of his siblings, perform their eclectic mix of original roots/pop sounds around SE Queensland while advocating for more inclusion of disability within the music industry.

Sailling in Space

Sailing In Space have a live show that is out of this world!

The duo of brothers deliver an unmatched chaotic energy on stage, coupled with their own unique brand of AltPop anthems. The band have engaged crowds of all varieties since their humble start at Solbar’s open mic nights on the Sunshine Coast in 2018.

Their latest single, “Breather” can only be described as a relatable and heartfelt journey into their anxious, overthinking minds.

Darcy Kate

Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia, Darcy Kate is an extremely passionate artist. Her original songs led by her melodic vocals are a timeless blend of genres including folk, country, rock, blues, and pop.

Darcy is an imaginative storyteller like the Australian greats before her. She bends emotive storytelling with pure pop sensibilities and her lyrics comprise themes of love, change, connection, and adventure.

Fans of Jewel, Kate Miller-Heidke, Mazzy Star and Norah Jones will feel at home listening to Darcy’s brilliant storytelling and stunning melodies. Darcy is making her mark on the industry with her unique stories which embrace intimacy and the human experience.

Darcy’s debut album ‘Wanderer’ recorded at Yama-Nui studio was released in June 2022 and was well-received with national radio play and international reviews. ‘Wanderer’ features singles ‘Last train to Frankston’, ‘Run Away’, ‘Songbird’, and of course, pop-folk earworm ‘Dorothy’. Darcy intends to tour her album in 2023 and has big plans with plenty of more music ahead!

Pete Gray

When Pete takes to the stage, people stop and listen. The journey he takes you on is always something to remember. With the voice of someone past, Pete takes us on a ride through the present and into our future.

Grab a bargain with tickets at $20 for a full evening of chilled entertainment.
