Surrounded by folk icons Carole King and James Taylor growing up, the songstress is a breath of fresh air in the Australian folk scene, channelling the charm of Missy Higgins and the storytelling of Josh Pyke.

Originally hailing from the Sunshine Coast (QLD), Jess cut her teeth playing in bands such as The Lighthearts and The Counterfeit Umbrellas, sharing festival stages with The Cat Empire and Thelma Plum.

Since kicking off her solo project, Jess has been hailed a two-time grand-finalist in the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize, held a top 10 spot in the AMRAP Metro Radio Charts for six consecutive weeks, supported Anuv Jain and The McCredie Brothers, and played sold out headline shows on her first East Coast tour in promotion of her upcoming album, ‘Mantras for the Modern Day Dreamer’.
