VERATIE

VERATIE are an alt-rock / nu-metal band, based in Southeast Queensland. Formed in 2021 by lead singer-songwriter Sarah and guitarist-beatmaker Connor, VERATIE weaves synth, heavy guitars and relentless rhythm with soaring melodic and rap vocals.

VERATIE has a modern sound inspired by artists such as Linkin Park, Evanescence, Paramore, Muse and Spirit Box. They have already supported names such as The Halo Effect (Europe), Beyond the Black (Europe), Redhook, Devilskin (New Zealand),
Lagerstein, Krave and more.

VERATIE have recently recorded their debut, 10 song album with James See at Airlock Studios, Brisbane. This body of work thematically revolves around the intersection of humanity, society, machine and divine, with singles and accompanying music videos set to release from September 2024.

VERATIE are a band to watch as they are set to rise in the new generation of alternate artists.
