Exploding from the vibrant music scene of Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia, Mosspaw are a shrapnel grenade of alt-rock, psych rock, shoegaze, and nu-jazz, and they are quickly carving a name for themselves as a pioneering alternative-psych band.

Drawing inspiration from iconic acts like Tame Impala, Queens of the Stone Age, Modest Mouse and Radiohead, frontman Daniel Mahler had written the band's demos prior to Mosspaws formation in August 2023. These demos laid the foundation for the bands 2024 debut album Big Bite, which explores themes relating to loss, toxic relationships, and substance abuse.

Self-produced in Daniel's home studio, unbound by timely and monetary restrictions, Big Bite reflects the band’s commitment to authenticity and artistic integrity through its disinterest in conforming to trends.

Throughout 2024, Mosspaw played numerous shows across Brisbane, building a loyal fanbase of music lovers. With every performance, they invite listeners to share in their exploration of the human experience, and draw them into a world of sound that is both mesmerizing and thought-provoking.
