About the event
In celebration of this year’s NAIDOC theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, the gallery presents From the sea, the land and the mountains: Works by Kabi Kabi and Jinibara artists. This exhibition celebrates First Nations artmaking across the traditional lands of the Sunshine Coast Region. Showcasing works by Kane Brunjes (Kabi Kabi/Gunggari) and Zartisha Davis (Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi/Cobble Cobble/ Butchulla) alongside a collective exhibition of screenprints by Jinibara artists. Scene Through the Screen features printmaking by Uncle Noel Blair, Jennifer Kent, Enid Morris and Jason Murphy, and was commissioned for Horizon 2025 through Sunshine Coast Council's MadeSC program.
Gallery hours: Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and Saturday to Sunday, 10am to 2pm. Closed public holidays.
