The Melancholic, and openly Vulnerable Fading Grey from RUINATION is sure to have you thinking of missed opportunities, lost love, personal boundaries, vulnerabilities, while maintaining a strong positive outlook on all of the above. Fading Grey, is a ballad of sorts, but don’t let that fool you. With its Quiet Verse. Explosive Chorus, searing Mid-Section, there’s a certain Aggression encapsulated in this Beauty. Quiet, Loud, Beautiful, Aggressive and Melodic. Fading Grey will be released on the 19th of September 2025 and will be available on all Streaming Platforms.

Luke Karolak (Guitar and Vocals) says “Fading Grey is about dealing with loss, as well as the processes in connection with that, but also moving forward, and adopting a what’s done is done mentality, living in the present. Fading Grey was born from the Line “I’ll put this Heart in a Noose” whilst in the Shower, rushing to the Acoustic Guitar, still dripping wet. The Guitar Melody was constructed, and as they say the rest is History. The Title is derivative of the space occupied between Black, and White being the Grey Area, but Fading fast”

Fading Grey is the third single to be released from the Bands upcoming Album Everything Eventually out on Friday 10 October 2025 through Golden Robot Records. The Everything Eventually album was recorded, mixed and mastered at King Street Studios in Brisbane by Engineer Mick Bristow.
