Get on board the Mary Valley Rattler for a ‘spooktacular’ Ghost Train ride

The whole family can dress up in advance of Halloween and enjoy a spooky evening onboard the Mary Valley Rattler with entertainers giving you the fright of your life!

Passengers are encouraged to ‘dress to distress’ in their creepiest costume—witches, ghouls, vampires and monsters are all welcome—and prepare for an evening of roaming performers, trick or treating and plenty of scares. There will be a scariest costume prize judged after an unforgettable journey that’s more fun than frightening (well, mostly!).

The special Ghost Train Ride will take place on Saturday, 25 October, departing Historic Gympie Station at 5.30pm, returning at 8.30pm.

The heritage steam train will steam off into the dusk, with passengers being able to enjoy the sun setting over the beautiful Mary Valley…just as the ghouls come out to play!

Tickets for the ride are available for $59 for a child and $84 for an adult, without food, and $79 (child) and $104 (adult).

Families can enjoy a VIP Booth experience with their own comfortable booth, a delicious local cheese plate and a choice of a hot main course served by a personal attendant. Bar service is available through the onboard trolley. A family VIP pass is available for $292 (based on 2 adults/2 children).
