Locals in the Loop is spotlighting the return of Hostile Fest 2026, set to bring an explosive night of heavy music to The Presynct, Nambour, on Saturday 21 February.
Now firmly established as an annual highlight for the region’s underground music community, Hostile Fest continues its mission to showcase the strength, passion and diversity of Queensland’s heavy scene. Built on community, consistency and uncompromising volume, the festival gathers a carefully curated lineup of local heavy hitters spanning modern metal, groove-driven rock and hard-hitting alternative sounds.
The 2026 lineup features:
Necrostasis, Burn The Kingdom, Hyena Smyle, Ruination, Oceans of Sirius, plus DJ Miss LC, delivering a full evening of relentless live energy and room-shaking performances.
Hostile Fest has become known not for trends or hype, but for its commitment to giving both bands and fans a genuine space where intensity comes first — a night built around loud music, shared sweat, and the unmistakable connection of the live heavy music community.
The event is strictly 18+, with Happy Hour from 6:00pm and main event doors opening from 7:00pm. Tickets are available now, including Early Bird pricing and limited group bundles.
With the festival only days away, Locals in the Loop encourages Sunshine Coast music fans to secure their spot and experience one of the region’s most authentic heavy music nights of the year.
