Bulcock Street Music Festival Brings Community-Focused Indie Punk and Hardcore to Caloundra

Caloundra, QLD — 21st June 2025 — This year, Bulcock Street comes alive with sound. Bulcock Street Music Festival marks a new chapter for the local scene — a celebration of punk, hardcore, and indie-alternative music, grounded in youth culture, community, creativity, and connection. And of course, plenty of loud music.

Happening right in the middle of Caloundra’s town centre, this festival brings together 12 local and Brissy bands for a day that’s all about live music culture. It’s all ages, run by local businesses, and shaped by people who care deeply about music and the spaces where it happens.

“We’re building something for the scene, by the scene,” says Al Jones, festival director and owner of local business Bulcock Street Bazaar. “Spaces where grassroots music festivals can thrive are getting harder to find — so we decided to create one ourselves, right here in Caloundra.”

Alongside the music, festival-goers can explore the best of Caloundra’s local food spots with all-day pass-outs — a simple way to support local businesses during these challenging times.
