Aeon Nexus – Black Mass (Official Music Video)
Progressive metalcore outfit Aeon Nexus melds futuristic djent grooves and raw metal aggression with ethereal pop sensibilities to create a sound that is impossible to define. Since their live debut in early 2024, the successful release of their popular debut single Twin Hurricanes spurred a slew of tour shows across Queensland and interstate, supporting prominent Australian heavy acts such as Orpheus Omega and Hammers. The quartet’s fast-growing reputation for captivating yet brutal live experiences earned them a coveted local support slot for US metalcore pioneers Bleeding Through’s September 2024 Australian tour. Leading up to the release of their debut EP Positive Disintegration, Aeon Nexus were selected by Wall of Sound as that week’s feature artist for their “Aussie Heavyweights and Hitmakers” playlist, and within a fortnight, the band had amassed 25,000 views on their Sony Catchlight Film Festival award-nominated music video for single The Choice.

Hailing from the vibrant city of Brisbane, Mezmik emerges as a powerhouse in the realm of melodic metal, infusing symphonic elements with a raw, visceral energy. Formed in 2020, this elegant quintet swiftly carved their niche in the ever-evolving metal scene with powerful performances and unrivaled energy, which saw them secure a place on stage supporting Blind Guardian for the Brisbane show of their 2024 Australian tour. With each performance, Mezmik unleashes a whirlwind of emotion and energy, captivating audiences with their electrifying stage presence and undeniable talent.
Jollee – Stir It Up (Official Music Video)
Formed in 2019 on the Gold Coast, Jollee is a musical powerhouse blending fierce vocals, heavy rock riffs, and a playful, theatrical energy. Hailed by Good Call Live as “the perfect example of why women are born to rock,” the band’s electrifying live shows leave audiences in awe. Jollee has shared the stage with legends like The Preatures (Magick Tour), Killing Heidi (Tour), Ali Barter, RedHook, Everclear (Tour), Wolfmother, and Sneaky Sound System, cementing their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting heavy acts. With the April 2025 release of their energetic new single Stir It Up, Jollee’s reign of chaos shows no sign of slowing down.
VERATIE – Ashes [Official Music Video]
Formed in 2021 by lead singer-songwriter Sarah and guitarist-beatmaker Connor, VERATIE weaves evocative melodic and rap vocals through an intricate soundscape of synth, heavy guitars, and unrelenting rhythm.
