EUCALYPTIC ECHOES 014, presented by Å_Space —
A one-night-only convergence of sound, atmosphere, and presence.
June 20 | The J, Noosa Junction → Tickets are LIVE → via The J website (https://www.thej.com.au/eucalypticechoes/)
Å_Space summons four otherworldly forces from the sunburnt underbelly of eclectic Australia. Å singular, unrepeatable event exclusive to The J Noosa [@thejnoosa].
Purient (VIC) | @purientx — Producer, vocalist, and sonic shapeshifter — Purient (aka Kate Durman) is a defining voice in Naarm’s experimental underground. A founding member of Acopia, her music fuses ambient dream-pop with abrasive club textures, gliding between intimacy and chaos with stunning emotional precision.
Signed to Steel City Dance Discs — the taste-making label co-founded by Mall Grab — she’s carved out a space entirely her own. Her 2023 EP Mwah blends shimmering synths with melancholic, pop-forward vocals, following earlier acclaimed releases via DMO, Pelvis, and Burning Rose, including remixes by Eartheater and Varg²™.
A staple in Australia’s live electronic scene, she’s played sold-out shows across the country while continuing to challenge and reimagine the boundaries of club, pop, and ambient music.

Cloud Tangle (QLD) | @cloudtanglemusic —
The solo project of Brisbane composer and multi-instrumentalist Amber Ramsay, Cloud Tangle evokes drifting emotion through ethereal vocals, lo-fi textures, and orchestral dream-pop. Think philosophy wrapped in synth haze.
Her latest release ‘Dreaming Again’ (4000 Records / False Peak) is a conceptual odyssey — resisting the age of spiritual flatness with mood, movement, and meticulous detail.

Lake Kelly (NSW) | @lake__kelly —
Vietnamese-Australian harpist Lake Kelly blends ethereal harp, vintage pedals, and field recordings into meditative loops — crafting dreamlike soundscapes rooted in nature and emotion. She’s performed for GOMA, Aesop, and Nagnata, and supported artists including Andy Shauf, Julie Byrne, Maple Glider, Babe Rainbow, and Seventies Tuberide. Recently returned from an artist residency at Château Orquevaux in France.

EGF (QLD) | @egf.wav —
Slowcore unearthed. EGF conjures raw emotion from beneath the surface — fuzz-drenched ambience, eerie folk edges, and the gothic hush of deep Australian wetlands. Their sound is haunted and hypnotic: music that lingers like mist on mangroves and memory in still air. Already this year, EGF has taken the stage at Eucalyptic Echoes Fest (January), played alongside Brisbane stalwarts Primitive Motion — active since 2011, the same year Å_Space emerged — and most recently performed with Franzmann (Mckisko) and Turner’s (Dirty Three) stunning new project, Mess Esque.

Presented by Å_Space — an immersive performance and recording project celebrating the emotional essence of live music since 2011. With over 100 emerging Australian artists hosted to date, this new chapter summons sound that lingers long after the final note.
