Hellhound Brown is the alter-ego of musician Patch Brown who originates from Melbourne. A solo, one-man blues performer drawing inspiration from African-American blues mythology, Hellhound Brown likens himself to characters such as ‘Lightning Hopkins’, ‘Howlin’ Wolf’ and ‘Hound Dog Taylor’ to name a few. Playing 1930’s steel resonator guitars, Hellhound Brown’s music is dualistic in nature. Both heavy and light, challenging yet satisfying, uplifting yet can bring you to your knees.
