Golden Guitar nominated country singers William Alexander and Paul Ricketts team up for an intimate acoustic show. Showcasing their personal songwriting and Australian stories.
William Alexander is one of Australian country’s most exciting new voices. With a rich voice that commands attention, and a deep respect for the music’s legacy, this young singer-songwriter pours soul and storytelling into every one of his heartfelt performances. 2024 marked a breakthrough year, with his long-awaited album ‘The Singing Stockman’, earning x2 Golden Guitar award nominations at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2025. That same year, he was also officially named the winner of the 2025 Thornton Young Award.
Paul Ricketts is an Australian Balladeer, Singer/Songwriter, and Guitarist from rural Queensland, whose music is deeply influenced by country life and Australian culture. With a strong storytelling style, he writes about everything from the bush and mateship to soldier stories, blending traditional country sounds with a modern, authentic Australian edge.
Paul, the recipient of the 2024 CMAA Thornton Young Award, continues to captivate audiences with his heartfelt songs, performing at festivals across Queensland and New South Wales while collaborating with renowned Australian songwriters
