Nov 8th at the Presynct – Mosspaw Album Tour Show with Nuffin Butta and TRILLIONS

Alt-psych five-piece Mosspaw are touring their debut album Big Bite, with the first show at The Presynct on November 8th with Nuffin Butta and TRILLIONS.

“One of the best rock bands in Meanjin at the moment…
With “Big Bite,” Mosspaw triumphs by bucking trends and digging deeper, searching for a sound that is as complex, interesting, and emotional as life itself.” ~ Daniel Newton, Heavy and Weird

Emerging from the vibrant music scene of Meanjin/Brisbane, alternative-psych five-piece Mosspaw are bringing their energetic live show to The Presynct in Nambour on November 8th, with support from local legends Nuffin Butta and TRILLIONS.

Full of lush tones, off-kilter harmony and gritty riffs, Mosspaws debut album Big Bite is a musical chimera, where alt-rock meets psych-rock meets nu-jazz meets synth pop, in a dingey underground pub shored up by the walls of sound and delay-drenched echoes of yesteryear.

“This album has a lot of recurring themes of universality, because I find it super fascinating. The eternal gears churning over the clock. The forces which move us. The people and energies we gravitate towards. How sometimes it can feel like life is biting down on you, and realising – you can just smile and let it unfold. Because everyone is working things out as they go. Stay in your lane, it is all yours. No need for fear, no need for worry. You’ll work it out. Take a big bite…” explains frontman Daniel Mahler.

The album was self-produced in Mahlers home studio, with mixing outsourced to the esteemed Magoo, Marly Lüske and Joel Myles, and mastering by Marly Lüske.
Mosspaw will be joined on the night with local heavy-weights Nuffin Butta and TRILLIONS to round out a night of epic live music.Doors open at 7pm, and tickets are $15 concession, $20 early-bird, $22 online, and $25 on the door.
