Take Us to Tamworth: Four Young Coast Artists Aim for Australia’s Biggest Country Stage

Four emerging Sunshine Coast musicians are teaming up for a special fundraising project as they prepare to head to the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January 2026. Shanleigh Rose, Phoebe Rose, Katie Daniels, and Henry Catania will share their original music in two local performances designed to bring the community together and support their journey.

The first stop is a free family-friendly showcase at the Currimundi Twilight Markets on Friday 21 November 2025, where the group will play a mix of solo and collaborative sets among the food stalls and sunset atmosphere.

The following month, audiences can enjoy a more intimate event at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Maleny on Sunday 7 December 2025. This songwriter-round style session will highlight the individuality of each artist, from soulful storytelling to powerful vocals and acoustic musicianship, all presented in a warm, close-up setting. Guests can also enjoy woodfired pizza, a bar on site, and a special appearance by respected local artist Kelly Cork, who will host and perform on the afternoon.

Both events will include a community raffle valued at over $1200, thanks to generous donations from local businesses including The Little White Chapel and Pro Music.

Funds raised through the Maleny ticket sales (via Humanitix) will go directly toward the artists’ travel and accommodation costs. Supporters who can’t attend are welcome to donate through the same link.

With limited capacity in Maleny, this promises to be a relaxed, heartfelt celebration of local talent — and a chance to help four young performers take the next big step in their musical careers.
