Campus Revival Tour kicks off this week, launching a new national initiative bringing free live music back to university campuses while creating paid touring opportunities for emerging Australian artists.
Created by QUT’s student-led Vermilion Records and funded by Creative Australia, the four-part touring project will run through to 2028, reconnecting students and their communities with live music while exploring the barriers and motivations shaping gig attendance among university-aged Australians.
The inaugural tour is headlined by rising indie pop artist Serendipiti, who has just launched the deluxe edition of her debut EP, ‘idealist (realist)’, alongside emerging local artists at each stop.
The tour begins at Manning Bar, USYD this Thursday, August 20, before heading to UOW Uni Bar on Friday, August 21 and QUT’s Botanic Bar on Thursday, August 27.
