About the event

Lil Canteen is a popular cafe in Cotton Tree that is 100% outdoors. We welcome you to bring a standing umbrella for shade, however gazebos will not fit in the space provided. If it rains, we will call it and cancel the market leading up to the event. Your space will be approx 2.5m x 2.5m. You are welcome to use a chair/s on the day. Please bring your own clothing racks (standard size) to display your items (max 2-3 racks). You will also need your own clothing hangers. This is a very visible venue from the road and should be a popular venue for our Thrift Fest events.

Thrifter now has 7 stores Australia wide and many pop up market events that are created as a way for our community members to sell their pre-loved clothing. The significant issue of landfill and waste generated by fast fashion is deeply troubling. As the cost of living rises, it is VITAL to take proactive steps towards establishing an environment where our community can purchase clothing without exacerbating the pressing climate change crisis. Thrifter is an initiative that hopes to bolster the financial well-being of local families by reinvesting money into their wallets!

Stall Hire: $60 (you can share with a friend)

Your stall size will be 2m x 2m (you can fit 2-3 racks)

Racks: Bring your own racks + baskets to display your items (no tables). If you do not have clothing racks, we advise you to find some on Facebook Marketplace!

This fee covers the cost of the event, insurance and advertising.
